Job Summary


We are seeking reliable and skilled Truck Drivers to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks, including box trucks or 18 wheelers , to deliver goods to designated locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and manual transmission vehicles.

Duties

  • Operate commercial vehicles, including box trucks for route driving and delivery of goods.
  • Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks and forklifts as necessary.
  • Ensure the safe transportation of products while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments.
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit.
  • Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization.

Qualifications

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is preferred but not mandatory for all truck types.
  • Experience in manual transmission driving is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is highly desirable.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) safely and efficiently.
  • Familiarity with operating pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be willing to drive OTR no exceptions.
